Could you imagine being with someone, wanting to marry them and being told no? This is what the gay community faces every day, to be denied the right of happiness. Does that give me the “right” to deny paying taxes? They are allowed to join the Navy, Army, Air force, and Marines. They fight for our freedom but yet they are still denied theirs. Approving same sex marriage would definitely change a great deal of issues. One of them being, giving more loving homes to a child that has been abandoned by their straight parents. If you had a gay family member, wouldn’t you want them to share the same happiness with their loved one as you share with yours? When this subject is brought up people’s first reactions are “Well, the Bible says it’s wrong to be gay.” Well the Bible also said God created everyone and loves them all equally. So why would we try to deny anybody the right to get married?
